CIO planning
NC State is in the process of creating the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the university. The CIO will lead a unified information technology operation, including (but not limited to) ITD, RMIS, and ComTech. As a first stage in this process, Provost Nielsen and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business Leffler formed an IT Scoping Team to develop the broad outline for the new position.
