Hands on Training:
Information Technology Division (ITD) has several technology workshops available for faculty, staff and graduate students. These short classes are offered on a wide range of topics including Dreamweaver, SAS, Photoshop, Access, Excel and more. In addition, we teach classes on skills such as creating accessible webpages and presentations, maintaning computer security, using Mac operating system and applications and how to manage a email lists at NC State. All workshops are free of charge.
ITD also offers workshops designed for undergraduate students on many of the previously mentioned topics, as well as additional topics that focus on the specific computing needs of students. These classes are scheduled in the late afternoons and evenings to be more convenient to an undergraduate student's schedule. All workshops are free of charge.

ResNet is the residential computer network service provided to students living at NC State University. ResNet lets you connect your personal computer directly to NC State's computer network and, through the University network, to the Internet. This site provides comprehensive information about setup and configuration and keeping your computer secure.
